Meet the Team!
Rosa Scarcelli
Chief Executive Officer
Rosa Scarcelli currently owns and manages over eighty affordable housing complexes in Connecticut, Maine and Pennsylvania and continues to grow Stanford Management’s affordable housing portfolio. She has managed the development of over $500 million in real estate assets throughout the Eastern United States, and oversees a large staff in several regional offices. Affordable Housing Finance ranked her company as one of the fifty best affordable housing providers and as one of the ten fastest-growing housing providers in the country.
From the start of her career in 1992, Rosa has passionately devoted herself to real estate. She has since gained well-rounded experience in her industry, mastering such diverse areas as affordable housing, the restoration of historically significant properties and urban renewal. She has developed properties for both residential and commercial uses, in small rural towns and major metropolitan areas alike.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College.
Richard Day, Jr.
President and Chief Financial Officer
Richard Day serves as Stanford's Chief Financial Officer and President. His leadership as CFO ensures the organization's financial health. He manages the budget, financial operations and annual financial reports, as well as coordinating financial activities with appropriate governmental agencies.
Richard has fifteen years of financial experience in the real estate industry, having held various managerial positions in both the development and management areas of Stanford Management.
He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine.
Michele Devine
Chief Operating Officer
Michele has 20 years experience in real estate development and management. She overseas the day to day management of the property management team ensuring all properties are performing and that her team is successful.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College.
Teri Nickerson
Human Resources Administrator
Teri Nickerson serves as Stanford’s Human Resources Administrator. With more than a decade of administrative and human resource experience. Teri oversees the administration of Stanford’s recruitment, hiring , payroll, benefit programs, and all human resource services for our staff. Teri is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
She received an Associate’s Degree from the University of Phoenix.
